Mind Thieves, by Lori Brighton

As with the first in this series, Mind Readers, I devoured the second novel in less than twenty four hours.  Lori Brighton spins a paranormal tale that sucks you right in.  I had to know what happened to Cameron and Lewis!  Will they reunite?  Has Aaron been defeated?

Cameron just turned eighteen, her mind had been erased and her grandma is back.  She doesn’t remember anything except she was told she had been in a coma and no one could figure out why.  They live on a beach and Cameron has found happiness.  Finally starting to feel like she has a normal life.  She should know better, she’s been running for as long as she can remember, and sadly she will find out that her life hasn’t changed in that aspect.

Sexy Maddox arrives on the scene with talk of her father and chaos blooms.  Characters from the first book reappear and new characters arrive.  The characters we know aren’t always what they seem, and the new characters were built so well, it shocked me when a twist appeared.  I would love to be more specific (it’s so very hard not to) but that would ruin it for future readers.

Once again the book ends with a huge cliff hanger and I am eagerly awaiting the day I can and do purchase the third book to satisfy my curiosity.
